Renovations have started on Rosales Boulevard, developing the area in between the streets of Asis and Rueda into a child-friendly space. Mayor Diego Rivera has approved the development of the particular stretch of the boulevard which sits between Calbayog Pilot Central Elementary School and the Calbayog City SPED Center. The project aims to provide a safer, wider and more accessible open space for the children of both schools, a welcome expansion since both have limited space within their premises.

Part of the city’s beautification project, the initiative has been adapted from the proposal and design of Mr. Joel Mancol (EnP), and is currently being undertaken by the City Engineering Office headed by Engr. Ashley Albana. Target completion date is by the first week of October.
